COLOUR:
Every effort has been taken to display all photographs accurately, be advised that different monitors and software settings do effect the image displayed on your screen. Be assured that all photographs printed, hold greater clarity, colour and sharpness to those that appear on screen. As a result there maybe some variation from the image displayed on screen to the final print received.
QUALITY & CLARITY:
All prints are captured using a 50mp DSLR or 24mp drone mounted Hasselblad camera. We do not shoot using ultra high definition medium format cameras. All prints are enlarged and some softening of the image occurs the larger the print produced.

Tom Price is a mining town in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. It was established in the 1960's by mining giant Rio-Tinto to service its iron-ore mine Mount Tom Price. It is the highest town above sea level in Western Australia and sometimes called "Top Town" for this reason. The Rio -Tinto rail network is the largest privately owned and operated rail system in Australia and currently services 15 mines over a distance of more than 1700km. The rail network runs just outside the town of Tom Price and its trains can be heard rattling past the town day and night carrying their vast load. The trains can be over 2km long and pull up to 230+ wagons of iron ore. If you get the opportunity to see one, get out, stop and wait for it to pass. It's a fantastic sight. Here you get the true sense of scale and the massive load it carries. As a result of their sheer size and length, much of the rail network is straight and stretches out as far as the eye can see. This image captures the essence of the region and the true colours of the Pilbara. This photograph was taken just outside the town of Tom Price on the west side of the town as the rail line crosses Nameless Valley Drive, tracking south.
