Far Photography.com.au is an online web based print store located in Hillarys, Perth, Western Australia. All images are custom printed to order and framed locally. All giftware and jewellery is handmade. A range of prints and giftware are available in selected retailers and at market events throughout the Perth area. For more details see News & Events
Q: What are your hours of operations?
We are open 24/7 online, or alternatively by phone during office hours 9am-5pm Mon-Sun 7 days a week GMT +8. (+ 61 422 918109)
Q: How do I place an order?
There are 3 ways you can place an order
1- Online - add your print/product to the shopping cart and check out.
2- By calling us directly on +61 422 918109
3- By email to firstname.lastname@example.org, (Include - print title | size | printing option | your details. We will contact you directly to take payment and confirm your order.
Q: Do I need an account to place an order?
No. You can order and checkout as a guest without creating an account. [However you will miss out on loyalty rewards, special promotions, notification of new releases and the ability to create a wish list]
Q: Can I frame my artwork?
Yes absolutely! We have two framing options, traditional "Frame" set behind matt board and inside a timber frame with Plexiglass/glass or a Box Frame, similar to the traditional frame but without the matt board and glass. It features a greater depth of approx 2". All frames are white unless requested otherwise. Additional frame colours can be sourced by request. Please email us directly for a quote. Q: Do you sell unframed artwork?
We certainly do. Every image is available as a rolled print, either in a Fine Art Paper print or a premium canvas. These prints are sent in a reinforced postal tube. All rolled prints are available for worldwide delivery
Q: How do I hang my artwork?
Framed and mounted prints are delivered ready to hang on your wall. A care and hanging sheet is included with every order.
Q: How do I know how big my final print will be?
All sizes stated are print sizes.
*Rolled prints will be printed with a 2 to 4" space around the image for framing.
*Acrylic & Metal Mount images are frameless prints and the same size of the original print.
*Fine Art Framed are set behind a white matt board and white timber frame. They are approx 15cm to 30cm extra on each axis. Eg. 60cm x 40cm print becomes 75cm x 55cm framed print. As the print size increases, the matt board and frame width increases. A large print 160cm x 40cm becomes 190cm x 72cm framed.
*Box Framed prints are only approx 6cm larger on each axis. Eg. 60cm x 40cm print becomes 66cm x 46cm box framed
*All prints are handmade to order, for this reason there are small variations on the final product sizes produced, please allow for this when measuring your space.
Q: What type of payments do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal Express.
We can also issue invoices and accept bank transfers.
Q: When will my credit card be billed?
Your credit card or payment service will be billed at the time of order.
Q: Do you store my credit card information?
Far Photography.com.au does not collect or process credit card payments manually, all purchases are facilitated through our website or money received as bank transfers. Far Photography.com.au is powered by Shopify. Shopify is a certified Level 1 PCI DSS Compliant website and ecommerce platform. (PCI compliance includes but is not limited by: Maintaining a secure network, Maintaining a Vulnerability Management Program, Regularly Monitor and Test Networks, Protect Cardholder Data, Implement Strong Access Control Measures, Maintaining an Information Security Policy) For more information on Shopify's security and compliance click here.
Q: Do you have a return policy?
Yes, we do. Even though we are a custom order small business we understand that sometimes items ordered online aren't quite what we thought or don't fit the space. We will re-credit you the total amount of the print minus delivery. Terms and conditions apply, please refer to our policy page for more information.
Q: What if my print is damaged whilst being delivered?
Our packaging has been designed to help reduce the potential for damage or breaking, but we can’t control what happens during transit. If your print arrives damaged or broken, please contact us! We will happily replace it, but we’ll need a picture of the damage. Requests must be received within 10 days of delivery, and must include a copy of the shipping receipt and photographic proof of the damage for us to review.
We will then cover the cost of shipping the item back and send out a new replacement without delay. Please refer to our policy page for more information.
Q: Can you ship to a PO box?
Unfortunately, we do not currently offer this service.
Q:How do I check the status of my order?
You will be sent order updates via email, at every stage of the order and printing process. Alternatively you can contact us directly anytime for an update on the status of your order via email or phone (+61 422 918109 GMT+8 between 9am-7pm AWST).
Q: How do I track my order?
Once your order is ready to be shipped/delivered we will send you an email, confirming the tracking number. An email confirmation is sent at every stage of the delivery process. You can track your order directly by using the "track order" link in the footer section of our website or click here
Q: Do you sell Gift Cards?
Q: Yes we do. You can find the Gift Card link in the main menu under SHOP
